Analysis and applications of the topological properties of human-brain networks
Human-brain networks have many features, but topological properties are little known to what contributes to the brain itself. Although small-world properties of brain networks are seen as leading to its communication efficiency, topological advantages of hierarchical modularity of brain network and degree correlations within a module and among modules are not clear. Opinions are divided: it brings about communication efficiency, robustness, maintaining dynamical activity, and adaptational evolution. We are studying on analyzing human-brain network's characteristics and discussing application to information networks.
